The Weekly Edge - Feel Younger, Look Better

The Weekly Edge

“He who is of a calm and happy nature will hardly feel the pressure of age, but to him who is of an opposite disposition, youth and age are equally a burden.” ~ Plato

“None are so old as those who have outlived enthusiasm.” ~ Henry David Thoreau

You’ve likely got 20–30 years after retirement. That’s a lot of life left to enjoy - if you take care of yourself now. Looking younger is a nice bonus, but the real goal is to feel better, stay strong, and make the most of those years ahead.

DID YOU KNOW?
Omega-3, vitamin D, and exercise work together. Older adults using this trio saw their biological age slow by 3–4 months over three years.
Good sleep increases collagen, reducing wrinkles and keeping skin elastic and youthful
Managing stress through meditation or breathing exercises prevents early aging caused by stress hormones

TRY THIS: Pick a 8-hour period each day when you'll eat all your meals (e.g., 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Outside this window, don’t eat anything. Just water or herbal tea and stick with it daily. This gives your body time through a process called autophagy, to repair damaged cells, improving skin health, and slow signs of aging, especially while you sleep. Try fasting for 24 to 48 hours for more significant autophagy to occur.
